Service Description

Take your creativity on a global adventure this summer with Kingold Studios! In this immersive week-long art camp, middle school artists will explore five distinct cultural art traditions — Native American, Mesoamerican, European, African, and Asian — through artistic exploration and hands-on studio projects. Each day includes an engaging mini lesson introducing historical context, artistic styles, symbolism, and techniques before students create 1–2 projects inspired by the culture of the day. Campers will experiment with a variety of mediums (fiber arts, clay, paint, watercolor and mixed media) while developing new artistic skills, creative confidence, and personal style in a relaxed and encouraging studio environment. We’ll also take a movement break midway through class to recharge before jumping back into creating. (Kids are encouraged to bring a snack from home!) This camp is perfect for creative students who love art, want to explore new mediums, and enjoy expressing themselves through hands-on projects. If you’re looking for a fun, inspiring, and creative way to spend a week of your summer, this is the space for you! **For students entering grades 6–8 in Fall 2026**
