Art Around the World - Session 5
Summer Camp for Grades 3-5 | July 20-24
Available spots
Service Description
Get ready to create, explore, and travel the world through art in this week-long camp with Kingold Studios this summer! Campers will discover five distinct cultural art traditions — Native American, Mesoamerican, European, African, and Asian — through creative discussions, artistic exploration, and hands-on studio projects. Each day begins with an engaging mini lesson featuring artistic inspiration, fun cultural facts, and new techniques before students jump into creating 1–2 original art projects connected to the day’s theme (mediums explored will include: fiber arts, clay, paint, watercolor and mixed media). Projects are designed to encourage creativity, build artistic skills, and help campers experiment with new materials and ideas in a supportive and exciting environment. We’ll also take a movement break midway through class to recharge before jumping back into creating. (Kids are encouraged to bring a snack from home!) This camp is perfect for kids who love art, enjoy trying new things, and want to spend a week in their summer making colorful, creative projects inspired by cultures from around the world. If you’re looking for a fun and inspiring summer activity filled with creativity, learning, and hands-on artmaking, come create with us! **3–5 Camp (for students entering grades 3–5 in Fall 2026)
